The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
